My first appointment helped with understanding how Eastern and Western medicine differed. Needling was explained well, along with needle disposal. Initially I thought I would go to the clinic, have a treatment, then maybe not want to continue, but I have found the treatments helpful enough that I continue to have acupuncture every 2-3 weeks, at my own expense. Even though my insurance doesn’t cover it, I find them helpful enough that I keep going.
